Frequently Asked Questions
We know you have questions. Here are answers to the ones we hear most often. Still curious? Make a free discovery call and ask us anything.
What if my spouse isn't on board with this?
This is more common than you'd think. Many families start with just one parent attending the discovery call. Often, once a spouse sees the practical, non-judgmental approach we take, they're willing to try. We also offer resources specifically for situations where one partner is more hesitant. The key is meeting your family where you are, not where you "should" be.
Do you work with organizations and institutions?
Yes. FaithForward Coaching partners with schools, youth programs, community organizations, and other institutions seeking meaningful impact. We offer customized workshops and ongoing coaching tailored to your organization's unique needs and goals. Reach out for a discovery call to discuss how we can serve your community.
Is this counseling or coaching? What's the difference?
FaithForward is coaching, not counseling. Counseling typically addresses past trauma, mental health diagnoses, or crisis intervention, and requires licensed professionals. Coaching is forward focused: we help individuals, families, and organizations build skills, create new habits, and grow spiritually together. If clinical support is needed, we are happy to provide referrals alongside our coaching.
What denomination or church background is this based on?
We're non-denominational and Christ-centered. Our focus is on biblical principles that unite believers: prayer, Scripture, grace, and intentional discipleship. We've worked with Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, and non-denominational families and organizations. If you follow Jesus, you'll feel at home here.
How do institutional partnerships work?
We customize our approach for each institution. Whether you're a school looking to support students, a youth organization building character, or a community program focused on transformation, we design workshops and coaching that align with your mission. Reach out for a consultation to explore what partnership could look like.
What ages work best for the Workshop?
For families, the workshop is designed for participants ages 13 and up. The core discussions and activities work best with those who can engage in meaningful conversation. For youth organizations, we offer age-appropriate tracks for teens (13-18) and young adults.
What if we've tried Christian counseling before and it didn't work?
We hear this a lot. Often, previous experiences focused on what was "wrong" rather than building something new. FaithForward isn't about diagnosing problems, it's about equipping you with practical tools, shared language, and support that walks with you. Many tell us it's the first approach that actually stuck.
Can single parents or blended families participate?
Absolutely. We work with single moms, single dads, grandparents raising grandchildren, and blended families. The principles work regardless of family structure. Our approach is designed to meet you exactly where you are.
What's included in the $595 Workshop fee?
The full package includes a 60 minute initial consultation, four 60 minute guided sessions, all workbooks and resources, and a follow-up call 30 days after completion. That is 5+ hours of direct guidance plus materials. For institutional pricing, contact us for customized packages.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We offer a 2-payment plan (50% upfront, 50% before session 3) and a 3-payment plan for families who need more flexibility. No family should be kept from transformation due to finances. If cost is a barrier, mention it on your discovery call, we may have scholarship spots available.
